Saint Chad’s Gardens are situated in the centre of the popular tourist village of Uppermill in the Saddleworth area of Oldham.

Although only a small park it is steeped in history, housing the site of the former 17th century Abbey.

The park proves to be very popular as it also links up with the linear walks along the River Tame and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.

Facilities include a popular childrens play area, ornamental gardens and an events field area which stages a number of popular events throughout the summer.
